MAKEUP | NARS Taos Blush Review

Assalamualaikum!

Hi everyone... I am sorry for not updating my blog regularly (as I should) because I just moved back to Malaysia from the United States two weeks ago and concurrently, my family just moved back to Malaysia as well from Bangalore, India. As expected, we are in the midst of moving back to the country and I am traveling from PD-Pajam-KL-PD all the time. Right now, I'm just a PTA Trainee in SRC and still waiting for my exam results *sigh*.

Photos were taken during lunch time so you get the drill here okay?

Anyhow, I am going to introduce you guys to this amazing product called NARS! Yes, I am the same as the rest of us Malaysian here needing to save money before I get my hands on the products I am/will be reviewing so my reviews will be as honest as possible. So lets start with the NARS Taos Blusher!

NARS Taos Blusher
NARS Taos blush is what I would say the NARS Orgasm blush substitute for women with darker skin tone like me (NC42). Whenever someone with dark skin tone (like me) ask me, what is the best blush one could have and has value for money? NARS Taos is definitely the answer.

Packed with a lot of pigments, I would say one or two swipes is enough for your daily needs. A little definitely goes a long way because these baby is expensive for me (RM 120 from NARS in Pavillion) but I can say it will last you a very long time. I got my NARS Taos during Black Friday 2014 and the website is having 20% off site wide which brings down the price from $30 to $24 (before tax) for 0.16 oz of a very pigmented blush. I got my NARS Taos with NARS Casino Bronzer and NARS Exhibit A Blusher which I will review them in my future blogpost.

NARS described Taos as a "Warm Desert Rose". I would wear it with my day to day look or whenever I have my red lipstick on because its matches perfectly for me!

I am always in love with NARS cosmetic packaging because of the "velvet" feeling of the casing BUT I hate when it comes to cleaning it because it always looks chalky whenever I use my NARS products. However what I always do is to just use my makeup remover wipes to clean the packaging and it will look as if its brand new again!

Here is a close up on how NARS Taos would look on dark skin (NC42) complexion. It doesn't really show up as makeup because I want to achieve a natural look for work and it does the job!
